Use a cropped image of your own signature. It will be added automatically to future PDF exports. Customer signatures are left blank.

Set up assignment emails

This version sends through the Google account for sales@itsuffolk.com. Kevin’s jobs go to sales@itsuffolk.com; Steve’s go to smgproperty@hotmail.com. “Other” has no email destination.

Sign in to that Google account and enable 2-Step Verification.
Open Google App Passwords and create one named Insight Job Desk. If unavailable, check your Google Workspace administrator’s policy.
On the Pi, open a terminal in the installed insight-job-desk folder and run .venv/bin/python app.py email-setup. Enter the 16-letter Google app password at the hidden prompt, not your normal Google password.
Run sudo systemctl enable --now insight-job-desk-email.
Check with .venv/bin/python app.py email-status.

Setup sends no email. Future new assignments or reassignments queue a notification. Existing jobs are not emailed automatically. “Email accepted by Google” confirms SMTP acceptance, not inbox delivery.
